Sadly, I haven’t been able t update my blog, but I have been able to keep thinking of a few great things that has been happening in the past couple days.
Thursday: I spent majority of my day with the boys I nanny, the youngest boy and I took a long walk on trails to enjoy the nice weather, it was nice to not have to deal with any adult drama or stress, and just listen to the simple ways of thinking and appreciation that a five year old boy has. Also, enjoying watching my friend win a “The Little Brown Jug” in harness racing, as the youngest driver. Also, having friends showing up and visiting me while I was alone housesitting was a great surprise. My friends support means a lot, and I’m blessed to have friends who can listen to me vent, and also being there for them. Catching up with them is always special to me.
Friday: Today was the first day that I honestly felt better about a lo of things that have been happening in my life, and it was nice to see that I was finally walking in the right direction. A simple lunch wit ha friend, and going to the casino was a nice way to get out of the house, and start of my weekend.
Saturday: I was nannying the boys again, the middle child was very sick with a fever, having experience with this, I was able to make him comfortable and content although he wasn’t feeling his best, Also being appreciated by the parents when they got home, these little things make me feel like I’m doing something right.
Sunday: I finally was done house sitting for my aunt, so I have t admit being in my own home and being with my family was the best part of this entire day. My brother even stopped by, with him being busy with his car racing schedule, I’m thankful for every momen I can spend with him in the summer.
Monday: I received a phone call from the friend who won the Little Brown Jug, it was pretty cool listening to how he felt about being the youngest driver, and the emotions he had behind the win. Also, it’s always just so nice to hear from him. Although, I rarely get to see him, technology like texting, Facetime, and others makes it easier to be able to maintain a friendship.
